Some things about me:

Grew up in Chicago, IL
Started at De Anza College and graduated from Harvard (twice)
Started my career at NASA building lunar rover software, then at Apple training ML models
Led developer relations at OpenAI, where I shipped stuff from 2022 through early 2024
Now I work on enabling the worlds developers to build with Gemini

Some things I believe:

Agency is a superpower

Most of the things I am most proud of have come from just doing the thing
Most people would rather ask questions, debate, etc
Most decisions are two way doors and you are often times rewarded for taking the initiative

Shipping fast is required

Move faster
Iteration speed often makes up for mistakes
Most things that stop you from shipping are made up

The value of being human is going up

In a world of AI, the value of being human is increasing quickly
Humans want what other humans create, it is biologically programmed into us
In turn, the value of authenticity by humans is on an exponential
Most people won't put their name out there, so they miss the value they create

I invest between $100k and $300k in developer tools or AI enabled applications
